In this article I demonstrate how you can make money with Adwords, the advertising system that is being used by thousands of Internet marketers today.

It goes without saying that you want to gain the advantage in Internet marketing, just like the other guys are doing; that’s why you’re here. But you probably don’t know quite where to start. So, on this page I am going to present an overview of Google’s Adwords ad program and network. I’m also going to introduce you to some guides that are designed to teach you how to use Adwords effectively.

First, a brief look at how Adwords works:

Adwords ads are those little text ads that appear in a vertical stack on the far-right of any Google search results page. People like me sign up for the Adwords ad program and create those ads so that Google search users will click on them and land on the desired web page. Challenging economic times have made the idea of creating some extra income on the Internet more appealing than ever. A lot of people are successfully doing it, yet the marketing novice may have only a vague idea of where to begin.

You begin with a product (or service). In order to make a sale, you must have a product or service to market. In order to market a product or service, you must either have one of your own, or be affiliated with someone who does. There are tens of thousands of products currently being marketed on the Internet by people who represent the owners of those products as “affiliates.” What does this mean? Internet Affiliate Marketing: PPC or SEO

The aspiring affiliate marketer (you) must create a strategy for helping customers find the web page where the offer is pitched, and the sale is made. The four most common methods to facilitate a strategy for affiliate marketing are: Social Networks; Email newsletters (list marketing); Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising; and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for web sites.

Marketing via social networks involves creating an identity and web page for yourself at any of the popular sites (Myspace, Facebook, Linkedin, etc.) making friends, and populating the site with your web page link or affiliate link as much and as often as possible (cha-ching!).
